I hereby give notice that sometime tomorrow, that the ability to change your user-name will be turned off, untill such time we decide to switch it back on again.
In the mean time, should you wish to change your name, I am sure the mod's or myself will be happy to change your name at a hugely over inflated price.. ..

It took a while, but we now have a "portal" website which will be our "face" for the outside world. There's not really much to see at the portal for now, but we'll give you the link anyway:

We haven't really decided yet what's going to be placed on this portal - that is a decision that still needs to be made. It will most likely become a site in the style of my old and cancelled afterhours project, meaning it'll contain reviews of music, movies, video games... but also other interesting things like stories written by members, news, tutorials, maybe a blog or two.
Some may get mad for asking this, but it has to be done:

We've tried the "stick to the rules exactly" approach, people complained about that...

If you are having login problems, please let me know either here, or by emailing me if you cannot login at all, webmaster@brevcom.com
I know some people have been having problems with logging in entirely, clicking threads and being logged out, etc. Please let me know exactly what happened, page by page, and what was clicked. Also where you logged in from, the block on the left menu or the actual page (http://www.brevcom.com/login.php)
If you haven't read in the suggestion thread, please clear your cookies and try once more. I made one change earlier that I hope will fix it. Make SURE your cookies are gone, even if you have to browse to the cookie folder manually. Mouse and I were talking for a while until he found out his Firefox brow...

First and foremost: Happy (belated) Thanksgiving!
Hope you all had a good one. I ended up eating at two places. I was stuffed, and had a two-hour drive to get home. Turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, green beans, lots 'n' lots of bread, and about 5 other dishes I didn't even get to eat.
I left my house about noonish, and it was snowing in northern Indiana. Not just a dusting: about 3 inches had already stacked itself up on the already slippery roads. Once I got down the highway about 15 minutes, it turned to where I could not see 3 cars in front of me, and everybody was driving about 15 mph. It ended up taking me almost 3 hours to get there.
Now the snow is melted, but it is still pretty cold out. There is leftover turkey in ...

Rule regarding name changes:
Seeing as how people don't want to be capped on the number of name changes they can make, from this moment forward, any substantial name change you make, must be posted in here!
Small name edits such as ShadowX going to ShadowZ, or TastyBurger going to FruityBurger, do not have to be reported... If you are unsure of whether or not yours is small enough to not need a report, report it!
Please keep chatter to a minimum in this thread
